Coastline Survey Ltd is one of the oldest independent marine survey companies in the UK and has successfully completed multi-disciplinary contracts in the coastal, nearshore and offshore and environmental markets for the last 18 years. The company has offices and workshops in Falmouth and Lowestoft.
Coastline owns and operates a fully crewed, extensively equipped, 24m survey and research vessel capable of all aspects of geotechnical, geophysical, hydrographic and environmental surveys. The company also has a number of 6-10m inshore survey vessels.
With a rapidly increasing order book and diversifying client-base we are seeking to appoint a Senior Hydrographic Surveyor. Work is predominantly UK-based using our own or chartered vessels. Depending on circumstances and experience opportunities are available for either predominately office or field based positions.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record within the survey industry with a minimum of five years operational experience. They must have an ability to work unsupervised, show initiative in decision making, and adopt a flexible and positive approach to irregular working hours, location and conditions as necessary to complete survey contracts to time and to a professional standard. Degree qualified and with an attention to detail, tasks must be prepared and undertaken to a high technical standard. Full driving licence essential and small boat qualifications desirable.
