Hydro9 will be the first international hydrographic confence and exhibition to hosted by the Hydrographic Society of South Africa (HSSA) on behalf of the International Federation of Hydrographic Societies.
The Organising Committee is putting together a packed technical programme, including parallel sessions, on all things Hydrographic. The venue has been carefully chosen right on the coastline with the Auditorium, Exhibition Area and Small Craft Harbour all in close walking proximity.
Socialising under the African sun and stars will be a large part of Hydro9, with a number of entertaining events, including a banquet evening on a wine farm as well a closing ceremony on Robben Island, HSSA's own African Alcatraz!
The Call for Papers and the accompanying Notes for Speakers can be downloaded below. The deadline for submission of 300 word abstracts is 15 June 2009.
