Second-hand equipment sought

I work and manage a medium size hydro survey company in Nigeria. We are currently increasing our inventory and I would like to know where I can get used, but working, ready to go survey equipments such as SBP, GYRO COMPASS, SIDESCAN SONAR, etc, to buy?

Any hints will be appreciated. Thanks, Guys!

Do you have a DSF-6000 manual?

This is a great platform and it was really essential for surveyors. I am looking after the survey operations of our company and am a retired navy surveyor/diver.

I am presently facing a problem - our company bought a survey launch fitted with DSF-6000 echo sounder. I require the manual for the equipment, can some body help?

Problems with shallow water wide swath bathymetry?

As a Hydrographic Surveyor now working for a seabed survey manufacturing company, my direct involvement is to help and continue the development of GeoSwath, a Shallow Water Wide Swath Bathymetry System. Although I don't want this to sound like a sales pitch, I am very interested to hear from anyone who may have specific survey problems that their present equipment does not cater for.

After all, it is only with feed back from Port and Harbour Surveyors that manufacturing companies can develop, and to some extent tailor make, shallow water survey equipment for specific needs.

I also agree that this forum is a great idea and I hope many more of us join in future discussions.
